This historic theater opened in August 1946 for stage productions as well as movies. Today the theater has been restored to it's former glory and hosts a regular schedule of concerts, plays, classes and camp productions, as well as a variety of films and private events. In 2023, Southern Living Magazine named it #7 in it's list of most beloved small theaters in the South. Eva' spent many hours volunteering with the renovation and reopening of the Theater, assisting her mother who serves as Executive Director.
